Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and provide a better experience.
Sign-in uses Supabase browser local storage, readable by website scripts, not an HttpOnly authentication cookie. Language choices use NEXT_LOCALE. Browser site-data controls can remove local state; local clearing does not revoke sessions on other devices.
The referral page loads Viral Loops sharing tools only when you choose to load them. Loading sends connection and browser information to Viral Loops and allows campaign data to be stored on this device. Details submitted in the tools go to Viral Loops; choosing to link rewards also sends your verified account email. Referral links also use a first-touch session cookie and tab-session storage. The optional affiliate cookie requires its own explicit choice. Stopping the sharing tools reloads the page; it does not erase stored campaign data or provider records. Clearing an affiliate cookie does not clear campaign storage. Browser site-data controls can remove local data and may sign you out.
You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser’s site-data controls. Clearing site data may sign you out and reset preferences. It does not erase provider records or revoke sessions on other devices. Campaign storage and affiliate cookies are separate; stopping the sharing tools reloads the page without promising data erasure.
