1. Service Description

RegisterMyBike is a bicycle ownership-verification and provenance service. It uses independent identity, address and ownership-evidence checks before an eligible paid registration can receive a digital logbook and public bicycle record.

2. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and password to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and all activity under your account.

3. Payments & Refunds

Launch products are one-, three- and five-bicycle registration bundles paid once through Stripe. No payment is requested until verification eligibility. Withdrawal, refund and partially used bundle rights depend on the purchaser's market and the service already supplied; mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.

4. Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide when registering a bicycle. Providing false information, registering a stolen bicycle as your own, or misusing the platform may result in account termination.

5. Ownership Transfers

Ownership transfers are facilitated through our platform with a transfer code system. Both parties must complete required steps. RegisterMyBike is not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers.

6. Stolen Bike Reports

You may report your registered bicycle as stolen. This updates the public verification page. Filing a false stolen report is prohibited and may have legal consequences.

7. Limitation of Liability

RegisterMyBike provides verification and record keeping, not a government title or a guarantee against theft, fraud or loss. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded; final market-specific liability terms require legal review before launch.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
