1. Service Description

RegisterMyBike provides a digital bicycle ownership verification platform. We create digital logbooks, facilitate identity verification through Stripe Identity, and maintain public verification pages for registered bicycles.

2. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and password to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and all activity under your account.

3. Payments & Refunds

Tier 1 and Tier 2 are one-time payments. Tier 3 is an annual subscription. All payments are processed through Stripe. We offer a 14-day refund policy for logbooks where identity verification has not been completed.

4. Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide when registering a bicycle. Providing false information, registering a stolen bicycle as your own, or misusing the platform may result in account termination.

5. Ownership Transfers

Ownership transfers are facilitated through our platform with a transfer code system. Both parties must complete required steps. RegisterMyBike is not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers.

6. Stolen Bike Reports

You may report your registered bicycle as stolen. This updates the public verification page. Filing a false stolen report is prohibited and may have legal consequences.

7. Limitation of Liability

RegisterMyBike provides a verification and record-keeping service only. We do not guarantee the prevention of theft, fraud, or the recovery of stolen bicycles. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
